All About Bud

Sanford "Bud" Remington majored in Chemistry and Mathematics and graduated from the University of Illinois in 1949. He was in the Navy Air Corps. from 1944-46. In 1956, while in Chicago, Bud was Asst. Plant Manager for H. Kramer & Company, ingot producers. He served both in the Chicago plant and their West Coast facility for over 21 years. Later while in Los Angeles, he helped start Weiner Federated Metals, Ingot Division. He served as Vice President of their Ingot Division from 1976-82. We were lucky to have Bud join CMX in 1982 where he serves as our metallurgist and managed our ingot division. Bud has also worked extensively with precious metals smelting and recovery.
